This position oversees department activities through managing daily
operations in the Care Center and ensuring knowledge and adherence to
policies and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring the

staff to maintain high quality outcomes.
2 yrs related exp., IL RN License, CPR, Bachelors Degree, Professional
Certification, CRRN preferred.

The Nursing Unit Manager mentors and facilitates the development and accountability of nursing staff, recommends care plans, strives for ultimate team effectiveness, and manages in a participatory manner by involving staff in the department decision-making process while incorporating the needs of staff, patients, and goals of nursing The Nursing Unit Manager also develops performance plans, conducts unit meetings, identifies educational needs of the nursing staff, and develops and implements annual education plans in conjunction with the Director of Professional Practice.
